About this work

What this site is

A complete private financial institution rendered as an artwork by the Iguako Institute for Applied Unreality: six divisions, twenty-eight domiciles, thirty-six offices, forty policies, one hundred and sixty-eight regulatory notices, an expansion programme, a technology charter, sixty research pieces and more than a hundred documents. Every page is written in the institution's own voice, because the work is about that voice.

What is not real

Every organisation, person, figure, entity, policy, document, counterparty, office, building, transaction and quotation on this site. No entity described here is incorporated, licensed, registered or authorised anywhere. No money is managed. No client exists. The published mailboxes belong to the Institute and are read as correspondence about the work, not as financial enquiries.

What the site does with your information

Nothing. The enquiry form and the Client Terminal do not transmit. The site stores one value in your browser's session storage so the introductory animation does not replay, and nothing else. Do not submit credentials, payment details, personal information or confidential material anywhere on this site.

Why it is built this way

Institutional language works by scale and consistency: a policy is believable because there are thirty-nine others, a domicile because there are twenty-seven others. The Institute's interest is in what that machinery looks like when it is complete and nothing stands behind it. The disclosure travels with every page, on the line above the navigation, in the footer, and in the colophon of every document, so the work can be read as a work.
