IGUAKO Capital

Capital inRare Form.

A diversified private financial institution. We find structural advantage in markets most capital cannot reach, and compound it in the markets everyone understands.

The Institution

A private institutionbuilt around advantage, not around a sector.

IGUAKO Capital operates across investment banking, private equity, quantitative finance, commercial financial services and ultra-high-net-worth wealth management.

Our strategy begins in specialised and unconventional markets, particularly across pharmaceuticals, biological and animal-derived industries, and other complex asset classes. These are markets with real barriers to entry: regulatory, operational, reputational and informational. Those barriers are precisely why advantage survives there.

What we do not do is leave the capital where it was earned. An advantage discovered in pharmaceuticals does not oblige us to remain a pharmaceutical investor. It obliges us to find the best available use for the proceeds.

Positioning

Rare is a descriptionof the opportunity, not of the marketing.

The rare part of IGUAKO is not environmental. It is that the firm operates comfortably in markets that are difficult to access, difficult to underwrite and difficult to exit, and then translates what it finds there into conventional financial power.

Rarity applies to the opportunities, the information, the access and the clientele. It does not commit the firm to any single sector.

Find the advantage.
Capture the value.
Reallocate the capital.
Compound it.

Capital Mobility

The cycle the firm is built to run.

Value generated in a specialised biological market can finance a data company. Returns from private equity can fund quantitative strategies. The information generated along the way improves allocation everywhere else.

AdvantageFound where access, regulation or complexity keeps most capital out.
EquityConverted into ownership, liquidity and proprietary information.
AllocationRedeployed toward the strongest available risk-adjusted return.
CompoundingHeld long enough for the arithmetic to do the work.

How allocation decisions are made

Origination to Deployment

Where the capital comes from is not where it stays.

01

Origination

Rare and specialised markets where structural advantage is still available to a disciplined operator.

02

Conversion

Advantage converted into equity, liquidity, proprietary information and deployable capital.

03

Reallocation

Capital moved to the sectors offering the better long-term risk-adjusted return, wherever those sit.

Private Wealth

Individual mandatesfor principals andfamilies.

Highly individualised investment management, capital preservation, portfolio construction, private-market access, and estate and liquidity coordination for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Clients of the private wealth division reach the same origination the institution reaches. That is the reason the division exists.
