Caribbean.

The Caribbean is where the group is held and where the arithmetic is done. IGUAKO Capital Holdings Ltd. is incorporated in George Town, and Harbourfront Chambers houses group treasury, the finance function, the Chief Investment Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. Seven jurisdictions and seven offices and desks sit in the region, more of each than anywhere else in the network. At 30 June 2026 the region carried US$224 million of the client portfolio and 88 of the 312 people.

Almost nothing is originated here. The function of the region is the middle of the cycle. Proceeds realised in the biological industries of Oceania, Latin America and Africa arrive in Cayman, Bermuda or British Virgin Islands vehicles, meet the four underwriting tests, and leave for the strongest available use. Four positions have their operating businesses in the region, each of them in structured credit or insurance-linked form, while 19 of the 47 positions are held through British Virgin Islands vehicles.

Bermuda carries the insurance-linked and reinsurance vehicles. Road Town holds the co-investment companies through which the long-term co-investors sit alongside the proprietary balance sheet. Nassau is the private wealth booking centre and the base of the Head of Private Wealth, and 12 of the 16 Caribbean family relationships are covered from there. Bridgetown runs treaty-based holding and commercial finance. The desks in Port of Spain and Willemstad cover energy-adjacent lending and Latin American structuring.

The 2026 phase of Programme Latitude is the Caribbean phase: a group treasury hub in George Town and the consolidation of the regional entities under a single management line. Every reallocation of capital between regions is minuted here by the Investment Committee, and every regional head reports through the hub to the Executive Committee. This is the one place in the network where the whole book is visible at once.

Programme Latitude

Expansion in Caribbean.

The Caribbean holds the group holding company, the treasury hub, a primary data hall and seven of the 28 registrations. It carries US$224 million of client portfolio and 88 people across seven locations. Through the programme it becomes the place the group funds and settles itself from, not only the place it is domiciled in.

Growth here is functional rather than territorial. Two locations are added in 2032 and one further registration is completed, and the rest of the work is depth: treasury, entity governance, oversight of fund administration and the private-wealth booking centre in Nassau. The region supplies about US$34 million of the programme funding from realised proceeds.

The regional plan in full

Targets

  • Client portfolio in the region raised from US$224 million to US$355 million by the end of 2032.
  • Regional headcount raised from 88 to 118, fourteen of them in the treasury hub in George Town.
  • Nine offices and desks in the region by 2032, both additions opening in the final phase.
  • Eight Caribbean registrations held by 2032, the eighth completed during 2032.
  • Private-wealth family relationships booked in Nassau raised from 23 to 34.
