Luxembourg fund platform scale-up

The platform is one umbrella with segregated compartments. It moves from four compartments to six during 2028 and takes two further sub-funds into the Irish vehicle rather than raising a second structure. One authorised manager, one depositary and one administrator serve all of them, and the documentation is written once.

Investors read a structure before they read a strategy. Six compartments under one manager can be explained in a single meeting; six vehicles under three managers cannot. The scale-up also removes about US$1.4 million a year of duplicated audit, administration and directorship cost across the European entities.

The work costs US$9 million of the US$34 million allocated to 2028 and adds four people in Luxembourg in entity governance and oversight of the administrator. Every compartment launch is approved by the Investment Committee. The platform carries no retail money and accepts subscriptions only from professional and accredited investors.

Deliverables

  • Six compartments live under one authorised manager and one depositary by the end of 2028.
  • Two further sub-funds admitted to the Irish umbrella under the existing documentation.
  • Four additional entity-governance and oversight staff at Grand-Rue Chambers in Luxembourg.
  • Administrator performance reviewed against a written service standard every quarter.
  • Duplicated European entity cost reduced by about US$1.4 million a year from 2029.
