Doha
Doha covers institutions. Four people at Corniche Chambers hold seven institutional relationships and service the mandates that follow from them, reporting to the hub in Dubai. US$15 million of the client portfolio is attributed to Qatar and one portfolio position is booked in the country, the first the office has held since it opened in 2024.

Qatari institutions take their exposure through a feeder vehicle into Private Equity positions, administered from George Town so that the office itself holds nothing. Bank Al Rawda is the correspondent. Every counterparty is classified under the Client Classification and Eligibility policy before a service is offered, and the office deals with no individual investor.
The 2029 Gulf phase doubles the office to eight people as Qatari commitments grow. Until then the arithmetic favours coverage over capacity: four people can hold seven relationships well, and a mandate that needs execution is passed to Dubai or Singapore rather than staffed here.
Functions
- Coverage of Qatari institutional investors
- Liaison with the feeder vehicle for Private Equity positions
