Dubai
Dubai opened in 2023 in a financial free zone and is the youngest regional hub in the network. Eleven people work at Marina Gate Chambers, covering the Gulf, arranging transactions and running compliance for the three entities of the region. US$43 million of the client portfolio is attributed to the emirate, with six family relationships and seven correspondent and counterparty relationships.

The firm originates nothing in the Gulf. It brings regional capital into positions originated in Australia, Brazil, South Africa and Japan, and it places structured credit and private enterprise exposure with Gulf institutions. A co-investment company gives those institutions their exposure, and a nominee company holds regional structures. Al Marsa Mercantile Bank has been the correspondent since the office opened.
Assets are held today through Nassau, Zürich or Singapore. The 2029 Gulf phase of Programme Latitude changes that, giving Dubai its own booking capability with custody linked to Zürich and Singapore, and adding an information-infrastructure desk of three people for the Gulf data-centre and payments projects the Information & Data division reviews.
