Banco Serrano Vitale
Banco Serrano Vitale provides real-denominated banking for the São Paulo office and for the five agri-science and animal-health companies IGUAKO has backed in Brazil. The account relationship opened in 2023 alongside the office. Serrano Vitale is the principal of the seven correspondent relationships the Brazilian entity maintains. It handles local payroll, tax payments and supplier settlement for the portfolio companies and for Latitude Agro Crédito Ltda., the receivables vehicle, and converts proceeds to US dollars under the group's currency policy.
The relationship
Origination in Brazil produces cash in a currency that cannot simply be wired offshore. Serrano Vitale registers the foreign capital, executes the conversions and documents each remittance for the local exchange regime. The result for clients is that Brazilian proceeds reach the Caribbean treasury on a known timetable, which is the first condition of capital mobility.
