Hong Kong is where positions change hands. Five people at Ice House Court advise on securities and corporate finance, and have completed five secondary transactions since the office opened in 2023. US$18 million of the client portfolio is attributed to the territory and eight counterparty relationships are maintained from the office.

A distribution company places structured credit with Asian institutional investors, and a co-investment vehicle admits them to pharmaceutical and specialty-materials positions originated elsewhere. Lantau Fund Services administers the vehicle. Fixed-income execution for the Quantitative Strategies division is arranged through the Pearl River Fixed Income Venue, with best execution evidenced under the policy of that name.
A secondary sale is the second of the four underwriting tests made visible: an advantage that cannot be converted is not an advantage. The 2027 Asia-Pacific phase adds an analyst team covering listed pharmaceutical issuers, which gives the office a public-market reference for the private positions it prices.
