Amstelveld Clearing

Amstelveld Clearing is the clearing agent for the Commercial Finance division's euro-denominated commercial paper and receivables notes. The relationship began in 2024 when the Amsterdam office opened. Amstelveld clears and settles the notes issued by the group's Dutch financing vehicle, which funds working capital for 12 European life-science suppliers.

The relationship

Clearing through an agent, rather than bilaterally, lets institutional investors buy short-dated IGUAKO paper through their existing settlement accounts. Amstelveld holds the notes in dematerialised form, runs the interest and redemption payments, and provides the settlement finality that European treasurers require. Programme size at 30 June 2026 was EUR 60 million, of which EUR 41 million was outstanding.
