Panama City

Panama City is the Latin American hub and the base of the Head of Expansion. Eleven people work from Cinta Costera Tower. Latitude Trade Finance (Panamá) S.A. held US$58 million of facilities to forty-one borrowers at 30 June 2026, the largest lending book anywhere in the network outside the group balance sheet itself.

Thirteen correspondent relationships on the isthmus routes are managed from the hub, and they are what make the trade book possible. Facilities are short-dated, self-liquidating and secured on the goods or on the receivable. The regional credit authority sits in this office, and no desk in the region approves a facility without it.

Rafael Quintero-Blyth, Head of Expansion, runs Programme Latitude from the eighteenth floor, and the Expansion Committee secretariat sits with him. The 2031 phase of the programme scales the hub, expands São Paulo and Mexico City, and converts the Montevideo desk into an office. Every phase is funded from realised proceeds rather than from new external capital.
