Road Town

Road Town holds the co-investment structure. Nineteen of the forty-seven portfolio positions are held through territory vehicles, and twenty-seven vehicles sit on the register. IGUAKO Co-Investment I Ltd. closed to new commitments in 2024, the year IGUAKO Co-Investment II Ltd. opened. Six people work from Tortola Quay, and every vehicle has a named administrator among them.

The work is administrative and exact. Drawdown notices, capital accounts, transfer approvals and distribution calculations for the long-term co-investors are produced here and checked against the George Town ledger before they are issued. The office does not originate. It holds no client money, and it takes no discretion over any position it administers.

Road Town also keeps the beneficial ownership records for the territory chain and answers information requests from the local authorities within the statutory period. The office reports to the Chief Operating Officer through the Caribbean regional head. Its cost is charged to the vehicles it administers rather than to the divisions that own them.

Functions

  • Administration of the twenty-seven vehicles on the territory register
  • Nominee and registered office services through Tortola Quay Nominees Ltd.
  • Co-investor onboarding, drawdown notices and distribution mechanics
  • Record-keeping for the positions held through the territory
