Lantau Fund Services

Lantau Fund Services administers the co-investment vehicles through which Asian institutions participate in the Private Equity division's pharmaceutical and specialty-materials positions. The Hong Kong office and the relationship both date from 2023. Lantau services three co-investment vehicles with 22 investors and calculates the quarterly net asset value of each on an independent basis.

The relationship

Co-investment vehicles hold a small number of private positions, so the valuation is everything. Lantau runs the quarterly valuation with an external valuer, keeps the capital account for each investor, and produces the drawdown and distribution notices. Investors deal with Lantau on cash matters and with IGUAKO on investment matters. The two roles do not overlap.
