Saltmarsh Mercantile Bank
Saltmarsh Mercantile Bank is the group's principal US dollar correspondent in the Cayman Islands and has cleared for IGUAKO Capital Holdings Ltd. since the firm was formed in 2019. It holds the operating accounts of the holding company and of nine of the 19 group entities administered from George Town. Roughly 55 per cent of the group's US dollar payment volume passes through its George Town clearing desk.
The relationship
The relationship gives clients a settlement route that does not depend on a single onshore bank. Saltmarsh provides same-day dollar liquidity against the group's treasury balances and acts as paying agent for distributions from Caribbean holding vehicles. Its compliance team reviews every new IGUAKO entity before an account opens, which shortens onboarding for co-investment structures. The settlement accounts of Latitude Treasury (Cayman) Ltd., the treasury hub vehicle of the 2026 phase of Programme Latitude, are being opened here.
