New York executes. IGUAKO Securities LLC, formed in 2022, is the broker-dealer through which structured credit instruments and private placements are arranged. The Quantitative Strategies execution desk works from the same floor and holds the group venue relationships. Eight people are based at Water Street Chambers. The office originates little and closes a great deal.
Group dollar clearing is run from the building, together with the North American custody relationship. The correspondent-network build-out under Programme Latitude is managed here as well: the group holds more than 140 correspondent and counterparty relationships across 52 countries, and each phase's banks, custodians and clearing agents are onboarded before that phase begins.
Information barriers matter more in New York than anywhere else in the network. The execution desk and the advisory bankers work on separate systems, and every crossing is logged and reviewed monthly by the office of the General Counsel. Personal account dealing by the eight people here is pre-cleared without exception.
