Ireland.

Ireland is the fund centre of the European platform. When the group divided its European operations in 2022 it put the holding companies in Luxembourg and the funds in Dublin, so that the vehicle a co-investor subscribes to and the company that owns a position are supervised, audited and reported separately. Four vehicles were domiciled here at 30 June 2026, holding US$74 million of the client portfolio under stewardship, the largest European attribution.

Presence

Six people at Level 5, Grand Canal Chambers, Dublin, under Siobhan Kavanagh-Nakashima, Head of Office. The office opened in 2022.

Why this domicile

  • A fund jurisdiction whose structures are understood by the institutional co-investors that commit alongside the proprietary balance sheet.
  • A deep market in independent administration, depositary services and fund directorships, which lets the firm keep oversight and outsource execution.
  • A regime that admits qualifying investors only, which matches a firm that will not sell to a retail investor anywhere.
  • An English-language jurisdiction inside the European framework, an hour from London and a short flight from the Luxembourg hub.

The platform is an umbrella structure, Latitude Fund Platform (Ireland) ICAV, with three sub-funds open to qualifying investors, alongside a separate designated activity company that issues notes over structured-credit positions. The sub-funds deal monthly. Subscriptions and redemptions settle through the depositary rather than through the office, and no member of the Dublin team can move cash or securities in any vehicle.

Six people work at Grand Canal Chambers: three in fund operations, two in investor servicing and one in fund governance. Administration, registrar and depositary services are provided by Dodder Fund Administrators, appointed when the office opened, and the office role is oversight. It reconciles the administrator records, tests a sample of investor files each quarter and reports what it finds to the board of each vehicle and to the Compliance & Conduct Committee.

Nothing is originated in Ireland. Every position the vehicles hold was found by an origination office elsewhere and is held through the group structures above it. The boards of the vehicles include directors independent of the firm, and a director may refuse a subscription, a valuation or a distribution. The 2028 European phase of Programme Latitude adds two further vehicles and a second fund operations team here, funded from realised proceeds.

Regulatory approach

IGUAKO Fund Management (Ireland) Limited is authorised by the local financial services regulator to manage the Irish vehicles, and it manages nothing else. Each sub-fund is authorised as a structure for qualifying investors, is closed to retail subscription and carries a minimum initial subscription of EUR 100,000 or its currency equivalent. A depositary independent of the firm is appointed to each vehicle and is liable for the assets it holds. The manager files the periodic regulatory returns required of it, including reporting on liquidity, leverage and principal exposures, and publishes audited accounts for every vehicle within the deadline the regime sets. Directors and designated individuals are approved before appointment, and each vehicle records annually that its board met in Ireland and took its decisions there.
