Amsterdam
Amsterdam lends. The office opened at Herengracht House in 2024 and holds the European book of Commercial Finance: US$34 million of facilities outstanding at 30 June 2026, forty-one facilities written in the preceding twelve months and an average tenor of ninety-seven days. Six people cover credit assessment, facility administration and collections.

The borrowers are trading companies in animal-health and agri-science inputs, most of them moving goods between the continent, the Gulf and East Africa. A financing vehicle issues receivables notes to professional investors through Amstelveld Clearing, which has settled the issuance since the office opened. No facility is granted to a retail borrower and none is granted to a related party.
Short tenors are the discipline of the book. A facility that cannot be repaid inside a season is refused, because the fourth underwriting test asks what loss the firm is prepared to accept. The 2028 European phase opens a representative desk in Frankfurt to refer German and Austrian trading companies here rather than to open a second lending book.
